Flying above Bagan in hot air Balloon : An unforgettable memory!!!

As every year, hot air balloon flight above Bagan are suspended for the rainy season (from 1 April to end of Septembre) and resume every year the 1st Octobre.


What of more exciting than flying above the majestic site of Bagan in a hot air balloon!!!
The flight last one hour, and you will fly above the 5 000 pagodas of the plain of Bagan while enjoying the extraordinary serenity of Bagan during the sunrise
Winds are never stronger than 20 Km/hs.
A toast of champagne will wait you at the arrival to celebrate your flight in hot air balloonl.

For the new 2008-2009 season, the company will be able to operate four balloons at any one time. It will also be possible to have an afternoon flight for sunset (will be consider by the company) with a minimum of 6 persons.

2009-2010

For this new coming season, all the four balloons will operate.
The company which operates the balloons will apply a new "Peak season" surchage for any flight between 24th December and 4th January (+15 USD per flight as it is usually fully booked at this period).


Public and Ananda travels Yangon prices for 2009-2010 season

- Public price: 295 USD
- Stand by price : 275 USD (you can by only at Bagan office, one day or one morning ahead the flight)).

- Ananda Prices:
One to 4 people : 275 USD (1 personne).
5 to 12 people: 265 USD par personne.
Above 12 people : 255 USD par personne.


Public fare & Ananda travels yangon for 2009-2010

- Public price: 295 USD
- Stand by price: 275 USD (you can get this price only at Bagan, at the last minute, you have to go to the balloon in the morning).
- Ananda fares:
1 to 4 people : 260 USD per pax - 275 USD for the "Peak Season"
5 to 12 people : 245 USD par personne - 260 USD for the "Peak Season"
More than 12 people : 230 USD par personne - 245 USD for the "Peark Seaon".

2010-2011 Seasons

A fifth balloon will arrive for this new season and it will be possible (if weather permits and with a minimum of 6 pax) to book a sunset flight.
Unfortunately, prices are still increased for this new season.


Public fare & Ananda travels yangon for 2010-2011

- Public price: 300 USD + 10 USD during peak season (xmas)
- Stand by price: 290USD (you can get this price only at Bagan, at the last minute, you have to go to the balloon in the morning).
- Ananda fares:
1 to 4 people : 275 USD per pax - 285 USD for the "Peak Season"
5 to 12 people : 265 USD par personne - 275 USD for the "Peak Season"
More than 12 people : 245 USD par personne - 255 USD for the "Peark Seaon".

Security

- The balloon has been constructed by the world leader of the hot air balloon. The pilots and technicians are English and the flight certifications is English. The passengers are assured for 2 milions of dollars.
- It is better to wear natural fiber clothes, try to avoid synthetic clothes.
- Pregnant woman can not fly.
- Child below 8 years old can not fly.
- Child below 16 years old can fly only if accompagnied by an adult.
- The bus of the company will pick you up at your hotel between 5h30 and 6h00 (AM)
- The overall experience last 2h30 to 3h00 (balloon preparation, flight, champagne breakfast).
- If the captain has to cancel the flight at the last minute for weather or security reason, your ticket will be refund.
