Boat cruise in Myanmar (Burma) on the Irrawaddy, Chindwin river and at sea.


What a dream !
A cruise in the famous irrawaddy river in Myanmar, from Bagan to Mandalay, and Bamo up in the foothill of the Himalayas.
There is more and more opportunity to travel by boat in Myanmar. Very recently a new line open to Mergui Island. We will post soon new information.

Special information for Mandalay Bagan daily boat cruise (up 11-09-2006).

The boat that was doing the daily (almost) cruise between Mandalay and Bagan has been bought by RV Pandwa group.
The boat has been renovated in August and Septembre.
There is news schedules and new fares (30 USD or more for public price).

- Boat is leaving Mandalay at 07h00 AM for Bagan. Arrival is scheduled at 5 or 6:00 PM.
- Boat is leaving Bagan at 05h30 for Mandalay, Arrival is scheduled around 7:00 PM.



- Delta Queen : ( 26- May - 2007) - All cruises cancelled for 2007-2008 season.
We have just receive the information that Delta Queen will not operate for the season 2007-2008.
All the cruises are cancel for the season.

Starting from Yangon to Pathein or from Pathein to Yangon. 1 night cruise in the mounth of the Irrawaddy river. The transfert to or from Ngwe Saung beach is included in the price of the cruise.

- Road to Mandalay : Famous and superb luxury boat sailling between Mandalay , Bagan, Bamo on the Irrawaddy or the Chindwin river. Cruise last from 3 to 10 days. A real nice way to visiting Myanmar.
