- Localisation: Embassy area, walking distance from the Shwedagon, 5 minutes by car from downtown, 20 minutes from the airport..
If you like the colonial style, charming tropical garden etc... the Governor's hotel is for you.
Prices for 2008-2009
Unfortunately the Governor's residence is the first hotel in Yangon to operate "Peak Season" prices for Novembre Xmas period.
Prices have increased a lot for the new 2008-2009 seasons, even more for the "Peak Season".
It starts to be a little too expensive, especially if you like big room.
Still a good choice, but there is some very valuable alternative in Yangon.
