Choose your hotel in Dawei (Tavoy) Burma - Myanmar

The choice of the hotels in Dawei is very limited .

- A former colonial house with in a beautiful garden and a very pleasant outside garden restaurant . The rooms are very expensive for their quality and for the Myanmar, even though the hotel is charming.

- 2 hotels-guesthouses (of which one in under complete renovation) whose quality is "correct" (no more than that) but that display much more reasonable prices.


To our opinion, it is a lot nicer (and logical) to sleep in one of the 2 guesthouses and avoid to pay really expensive price for average bedroom.

Palè ékari (Pearl princess)

Very pretty building in a big garden. The restaurant in the garden is very pleasant (a good place to dine in the evening). The rooms are very expensive for Myanmar, clean, with a correct bathroom but small. Avoid the rooms close to the reception and at the ground level, they are quite noisy.

Garden Guest house

Category: Guest house
C alme, in downtown, the rooms at the 2nd floor are luminous and clean. The bathroom is common. The rooms at the ground floor have an attached bathroom but are darker and older.
Prices are much more reasonnable than the "Pearl princess" hotel.
