Choose a hotel at Mont Popa in Burma - Myanmar

Mont Popa is located at 80 km from Bagan (1h30 drive, road is not so bad, even good for Myanmar).
It is an interesting drive, and you will be able to stop at the toddy juice "factory" along the road. Mostly small bamboo house where you can eat candies and drink toddy juice alcool.

Popa is a good place to visit on your way to Inle (Shan Stae) or while driving to Yangon via Pyay. Mont Popa resort is a very good place to stay and until now the only good place to stay.

The hotel has been awarded by Times magazine as the most relaxing resort in Asia... Not sure, but any it is a very good and relaxing place to stay. The hotel is located in a big forest in front of Mont Popa pagoda. Rooms are good, food too, and the place is really quiet and cool to stay.
