Small pagoda made with gems in Mogok (Myanmar)

Small pagoda made with gems in Mogok (Myanmar)

Small pagoda made with gems (ruby, diamonds, sapphires, jade...) in the Min Paid Thaun Chantha_gyi pagoda in Mogok. Mogkok is the world capital of the rubies since several thousands years.
The famous " pigeon blood " ruby has been extracted from the Mogok Stone Track. It is possible
to visit Mogok, alas not as Joseph Kessel, but only few days from
Mandalay. It is mandatory to use a travel agency recognized by the
authorities as Ananda Travel Yangon. You will also be able to walk
in the middle of the ruby and sapphire mines. You will probably find on soil a few
bursts of spinels or rubies.
