The Golden Rock pagoda -Kyaikhtiyo - Myanmar

The Golden Rock pagoda -Kyaikhtiyo - is situated in balance on the edge of a rocky crest
at an altitude of 1200m in the East of theMon State. This rock, covered entirely of
leaf of pure gold is according to the legend maintained in balance by the presence of 2 hairs
sacred of Lord Buddha. You need to walk at least one hour to go to this place
highly sacred for the Burmese.
