in the golden triangle area aournd Kentung a lot of different ethnic groups.
Most of the time, people are still wearing traditional costum in their village or to go to the market. It is not for the
tourist, but still their day to day style.
This Akka hat is especially beautiful. The top is made of silver coin from Indian time, you can read on it "" India One Rupee George V""). Most of the hill tribes are still using the Indian rupee coins and they go to Kentung market
to change them against Myanmar currency.
On this picture, you can also see 2 French silver coin, probably coming for nearby Laos where you
have the same ethnic group.
