Trek in the south Shan state from Tha Yet Pu to Indein ( Inle Lake area ) - Myanmar |

Heho -Tha Yet Pu - Indein - Inle Lake area
3 days - 2 nights
Walking time : 1st day : 5 to 6 hours, 2nd day : 6 hours, 3rd day : 5 hours
Best time to come : October to Jjanuary - correct in February - very dry and hot in March-April-May - slippering during the monson (but doable).

Day 1 |
|
Welcome at Heho's airport and transfer to Tha Yet Pu ( Pao ) village by car. It takes around 20 min. Leave the car at Tha Yet Pu, ( The car may be takes your excess luggages to your hotel at Inle.) and starting to walk to Kan Par Ni village (Danu ethnic group). On the way you can see the potato field, ginger, rice, wheat fields etc.... In Kan Par Ni village, you can take one hour to visit the village (black smith and pottery work shop). After walk for Sue Pan Inn village during one hour. Lunch at Sue Pan Inn village. After lunch proceed to Kyauk Ta Ka village (Danu ethnic group). And then another walk (1h30), you will reach the War Gyi Hmyaung village, you are going to cross rice fields and climb up small hill.There is a wonderful panorama from that hill to see the Inle Lake.You can see many type of bamboo around the village.

Day 2 |

After your breakfast departure from War Gyi Hmyaung village at about 8:00 am and go down to Taung Boe Hla village for about( 2 hrs. On the way you can visit some houses and monasteries. Proceed to Sale Kyit village crossing a little forest and some gardens (mango, bean, etc...;).Between Taung Boe Hla and Sale Kyit you will have to cross a stream by a bamboo bridge. Lunch at Sale Kyit village. After lunch you will have to walk hours toreach Tha Yet Hmyaung village. Over night at Tha Yet Hmyaung village. |

Day 3 |
|
Departure early morning (7h00) after your breakfast from Tha Yet Hmyaung to Indein, very nice village on the shore of Inle Lake. It takes around 5 hours to reach Indein, mostly going down. .On the way you can see cheroot leaf gardens and garlic fields and walk through Pao and Intha villages. At Indein village, you can visit superb old XVI century pagodas. Your boat will wait you on the shore of the village. .After your visit you can proceedby boat to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda or your hotel. |
