Trek in the South Shan state around Inle lake - Indein - Kalaw area - 3 days - 2 nights - Myanmar

Trek around Inle lake -Indein - Kalaw area in the Shan mountain
3 days - 2 nigts

Walking time : 1st day : 5 hours of walk - climbing, 2nd : 5 to 6 hours., 3rd day : 5 to 6 hours.

Best time to come : October to january - correct in February - very dry and hot in March-April-May - slippering during the monson (but doable).

Day 1

After your breakfast departure from your hotel by boat at at 8:00 am for Indein village. You will start the trek by walking to to Nang Yoke village,on the way you have to claimb up small hills - it is mostly climbing during two or three hours. Lunch at Nang Yoke village .After lunch proceed to Htee Thein village, it will take around 2 hours. On the way you can visit some villages.
Over night at Htee Thein monastery. Diner at the monastery.

Day 2

Depart ure from Htee Thein village and monastery at 8:00 am after your breakfast. You will have to walk around 2 hours before arriving to Kon Hla village. Lunch at Kon Hla village. After lunch proceed to Lay Thar Gone village. On the way you can meet Pao and Taung Yo ethnic group..You will continue to Myin Ma Hti village located at the top of a big hill. The village is close to small mountains .At Myin Ma Hti there is a long cave below the mountain. In the cave you can see ancient stupas and pagodas.
Over night at Pyin Thar village.

Day 3

Departure early morning at 7:00 am after your breakfast from Pyin Thar village from Myin Sai Gone village. it takes around three hours to reach the village. That village is close to the railways station that is going to Thazi. After Myin Sai Gone you will proceed to Hin Khar Gone village and to Kalaw (an other two hours). End of trek, you can stay in Kalaw for the night, or take a car for Mandalay - Bagan - Yangon
