Trek in the South Shan state between Kalaw and to Baw Ning Gone - Inle Lake - 2 days - 1 night - Myanmar



From Kalaw to Baw Ning Gone - Inle Lake in the Shan mountain
2 days - 1 nigt

Walking time : 1st day : 6 to 7 hours of walk - small hills, 2 nd day : 5 hours

Best time to come : October to January - correct in February - very dry and hot in March-April-May - slippering during the monson (but doable).

Day 1

 

After breakfast departure from Kalaw at ( 8:00 am )by car. Short drive for 30 min:to reach Baw Ning Gone village. ( Your car will take your luggages and put to your Hotel in Inle lake if needed).From Baw Ning Gone village you will walk 3 hours before arriving to Kone Hla village for lunch. On the way you can see potatos, garlic and some paddy fields. After lunch proceed to Pattu Pauk village (3 hours walk). On the way you can visit two villages. And then proceed to Htee Thein village (30 m walk) .Over night at Htee Thein monastery.


Day 2

 

Depart from Htee Thein monastery after your breakfast around 7.00. After a long (going down) walk, you will reach Indein village on the shore of Inle Lake.On the way you may be pass the four villages of Inthar and Pao races.There are many plantation cheroot leaf. Your boat is waiting at Indein village. In Indein village, you can see the ancient Pagodas from the XVI century and quiet places, take your time for visiting the vilage.. After visit Indein procee to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda ( or ) Hotel by boat . A boat (not included in the quotation) will be waiting you at Indein Jetty.
