Shwe In Tha hotel at Inle Lake (Burma - Myanmar)

Sport : Nice swimming pool, probably the only hotel of the lake with a swimming pool (not in the lake, a real one).

Rooms : satellite Tv, bath tub balcony, bedroom in wood bamboo and tissus, very nice, renovated in 2008 (really nice)

Restaurant : PAO, Intha, Chinese

Localisation: Middle of the Inle lake, close to Phaung Dau Oo pagoda

The hotel has been renovated and expanded in 2008. it is a very charming place, beautiful room, swimming pool (very rare at Inle Lake), service is very good, it could be a little noisy as the hotel is very closed to a monastery but it is still a very nice place to stay.

Ms Ann, the owner is really taking care a lot of the hotel, making frequent renovation, and try to minize the hotel impact on the environment as much as possible.
She is using water solar system to heat up the water for the shower, and solar panel for the electricity. She really takes care a lot of the guest.
If you absolutely want to stay above the water of the lake, try the Shwe Inn Tha, very good place to stay.
