Trekk in the Shan state between Pindaya, Kalaw and Inle Lake (1 to 4 days)


We have prepare for you very nice trekk and walks in the Shan State around and between the cities of Pindaya, Kalayw and Inle Lac. Duration : from 1 day to 4 days. You will have the opportunity to sleep in a remote monastery and village of the Shan State, to walk in the rice field, orange or tea plantation and to visit local tribe village (Danu, Palaung, Pa O, Shan, ....) We have also prepare for you a boat trip to the most southern part of the Inle Lake to the ancient town of Sagar (16th centutry pagoda). You can access to Sagar only by boat for a day trip. Trek - security problem (03-05-2006) - area open again. We had to stop some treks between Kalaw and Indein for "security reasons" during the last seasons. The problem is over and we are resuming trekking between Kalaw and Indein. We had to sligthly modified the path of some treks, but everything is fine for the following programs : - Tha Yet Pu - Khaung Dine - Tha yet Pu - War Gyi - Indein. - Kalaw - Tar Yaw - Kalaw - Indein - Kalaw - Nang The Le Thee NB : it seems that the "security problem" was some pictures of military personnel taken by a group of tourist in the area.. As consequence, treks had been closed for a while.
